How will coaching help me recover from anxiety?
Coaching is an important tool for many people to access as they recover from anxiety. During a coaching session, Sam helps clients refine and improve their recovery-focused practices, overcome difficult setbacks and generally stay on track.
Sam’s approach is about helping his clients make positive behaviour change to recover from anxiety, not just manage it. Each session is designed to offer his clients time and space to reflect on how they are applying the tools and methods from his Anxiety Cure Video series on Youtube (watch below).
Clients benefit from coaching for many reasons, including when they are mentally tired or fatigued, experience multiple setbacks, lose confidence in their ability to recover or have questions about the information in his videos.
Booking your session
On the booking page you have the choice of booking either a 60 min or 30 min coaching session with Sam:
- 60 min sessions: longer sessions if you have not worked with Sam before, are starting your journey or are having a difficult time with setbacks
- 30-minute sessions: short, more affordable sessions to help you reset and refocus (if you are already applying Sam’ work & only have one or two questions)

Here is a list of common questions and answers about Sam’s anxiety recovery coaching:

How will anxiety coaching help me?
Each session is designed to help you stay on course to recovery by overcoming setbacks, learning more about anxiety and how it impacts you, improving your recovery practices and help your tired mind get clarity to take positive steps forward.
How long is a coaching session?
Sessions are either 60 min or 30 min in length. If have never worked with Sam, he recommends you book a 60 min session initially, to allow time to explore where you are on the recovery journey properly.

Will coaching cure me of anxiety?
No. The only person who can ensure you recover is you. Coaching is designed to help you improve your practice and overcome difficult moments, but you still need to do the work involved outside of your coaching sessions.
What should I expect from a coaching session?
This is an opportunity for you to keep moving forward on your journey to recovery. Sam will ask you a series of questions to help you get perspective on your current situation, what is working well and what you are struggling with the most.
At the end of each session, Sam will encourage to make commitments as to what you will do to keep moving forward.

How do I make the most of each session?
The more preparation you do the better by reflecting on the following questions before you come to each session:
- What are your current challenges?
- What recovery techniques have you tried?
- What has helped you in the past?

Are coaching sessions confidential?
Yes, all coaching sessions are completely confidential other than in situations where Sam is legally required to make disclosures.
What is the cost of each coaching session and how do I pay?
Once you click on the ‘book now’ button you will see the current price for the different types of coaching sessions available.

Can I reschedule my coaching session?
Yes, however, you will need to provide 48 hours notice to give Sam time to offer vacant slots to other clients.
Do you offer refunds?
No, at this time I am unable to offer refunds.
My Story
Samuel Eddy, MSc Psychology, B Bus
Whilst working in London as a busy corporate executive, seemingly without warning I found myself in a state of high anxiety and panic after I burned out. And it left me wondering:
How did this happen? What was the cause? How do I get out of this state and recover? Initially I found these questions difficult to answer and much of the help I received, whilst well intentioned, focused on managing symptoms without addressing the underlying cause. This is when my journey to move out of a state of high stress and anxiety to a more mindful state of being started.
After recovering from anxiety in 2012 I set out on my journey to help others do the same. Building on the great work of Dr Claire Weekes, who helped me in my time of need, I created a video series on YouTube to help educate people that recovering from anxiety is possible and share the tools and methods I used to do it myself.
Since 2016 I have also worked as an executive coach and workplace trainer in the areas of mental health, wellbeing, and career and leadership development.
