Mindfulness: Reduce Stress To Improve Innovation & Creativity

In today’s world where we are constantly switched on and are more connected to work than ever through technology, taking time to disconnect is becoming increasingly important.

Building True Confidence and Resilience:

In this workshop, I help define what true confidence is and give people the tools to develop this for themselves in a way that aligns with their career and personal goals, and their unique personality.

Many people struggle with confidence in the workplace whether it be a case of not enough or ‘too much’. Another common problem is being resilient in the face of adversity, so this is very topical area for many organisations. In this session you will learn:

  • The definition of true confidence and why resilience can help you flourish in times of uncertainty and change.
  • How resilient employees are more productive, adaptable to change and able to tap into creativity and innovation.
  • Learn strategies and techniques to build your own levels of resilience and make changes to improve your own wellbeing.

How To Step Out Of The Blame Game At Work?

This keynote speaking topic is gaining popularity as there is an element of blame in nearly every organisation, and the idea of ‘toxic coworkers’ continually effects productivity.

I present this in a non-confronting manner and start off by acknowledging how all of us, including myself, are prone to playing the blame game from time to time, how it increases stress within organisations, and why it inhibits innovation, creativity and progress.

In these sessions you will discover:

  • How our ego’s trick us into playing the blame game
  • Why blaming and complaining only increases our own stress levels
  • How to develop true confidence, openness and transparency as keys to reducing blame culture in the workplace
  • How business thrive when openness, transparency and true collaboration replace blame and complain cultures

Working Parents – How To Keep Your Career On Track & Find Time For Family

Keeping your career on track while managing personal levels of stress and finding more family time during significant life changes is not easy, but it is very achievable. This session is targeted towards all working parents, including new and prospective parents. In this session you learn:

  • Tips and techniques on how to maintain and progress your career while spending more time with family
  • How expectations of yourself at work and at home can at times be counterproductive
  • Why and how to focus on your personal wellbeing as your first priority, to flourish in both career and family life.

Technology And Wellbeing

Technological innovations and flexible working have made many positive changes to working life, but they also mean we are more connected to our work every hour of the day. This can make it increasingly difficult to switch off, blurring the lines between our personal and professional lives.

These changes are neither good nor bad on their own. How we respond to and manage the evolution in working life has the greatest impact on our health and wellbeing. In this session your staff will discover:

  • How to use technology to your advantage without becoming dependent on it
  • How embracing technological changes at work will boost your confidence and resilience
  • Ways to disconnect from technology in order to unwind, relax and refresh your mind and productivity

Why Do We Take Life So Seriously?

You only have to skim over online news or a comments section to see how seriously we take life. There is a tendency to focus on the negative things that occur in this world and overlook all that is good in our own lives and communities.

The truth is the we don’t have to focus on fear, negativity and all the ‘bad stuff’ that happens in our world to make positive change in our personal, community and work lives.

In this motivational presentation for larger groups. I talk through my personal journey and uncover the reasons why society has come to take life all too seriously, and how pointless it ultimately is.

I also map out ways to combat this work-first mentality in everyday life to bring more joy, prosperity and fun into our world.
